北京9月14日凌晨，第60届联合国大会总务委员会拒绝将所谓“台湾在联合国的代表权”问题等提案列入联大议程。这是1993年联大总务委员会第13次拒绝类似提案。
In the early morning of September 14th, the General Committee of the UN General Assembly refused to include into the agenda of the current session such motions as "Taiwan's representation in the UN". This is the 13th time since 1993 that the General Committee rejected such motions.

世界上，台湾的一，加入由主权组成的联合国。任何违背《联合国宪章》宗旨和原则，违反联大2758号决议，挑战国际社会公认的原则的，都不联合国会员国的支持。
There is only one China in the world. Taiwan, as a part of China, cannot join the UN whose members are sovereign states. Any action which runs counter to the principles and purposes of the UN Charter, UN Resolution 2758 and universally-recognized one China principle is impossible to gain support from a vast number of UN member states.

祖国和平符合包括台湾同胞在内的全体人的利益。一直以最大的诚意、尽最大的努力和平的前景。今年，在的努力下，两岸交流重大进展，台海局势缓和。但台湾当局却置的诚意于不顾，不但不停止“台独”分裂活动，反而向联合国上述提案。台湾当局应该停止一切分裂活动，回到原则。
To realize peaceful reunification of the motherland is in the fundamental interests of all Chinese people including Taiwan compatriots. The Chinese Government always makes the utmost efforts with the greatest sincerity to strive for the prospect of peaceful reunification. This year, under the concerted efforts of relevant parties, cross-straits exchanges have made major progress and the situation across straits has eased. The Taiwan authorities, however, in disregard of our sincerity, still put forward the above-mentioned motions to the UN instead of putting an end to secessionist activities. The Taiwan authorities should stop all secessionist activities and come back to the one China principle.
